This special cake was
inspired by a bride who
recently completed her
Master of Fine Arts degree.
She specializes in fabric
scupture, so what more
perfect inspiration for her
cake, than her own
sculpture. We lifted the
cake and took some of the
fabric petals she uses in
her work and surrounded
the cake base. We used
her color palette and made
sugar paste petals to
compliment the real pieces
below. Next to the cake
were photos of her exhibit.
It was fun to use her work
as inspiration the cake for
this special day.
